Where are we now with EFT?
There are a lot of EFT trainers out there and many different courses to choose from. Each has its own flavour and bias. This is inevitable as EFT has been around in the UK for many years now.
One thing that does concern me though is that some EFT trainers and practitioners try to wedge EFT into their own beliefs. This means that when you attend a training course, you are not just getting how to use EFT but the trainer’s own explanation about how the universe works, and EFT can even be held up as a verification of that. Therefore you will come across concepts such as different dimensions, God, angels, the law of attraction, fate, karma, past lives and energy (understandably).
My experience with EFT
But what if you don’t need all that stuff to be a highly successful EFT practitioner, able to help clients with a wide range of problems?
Having worked professionally with clients for 17 years with EFT, I have never required my clients to take on new beliefs other than "I think this will work, let’s try it". Yes, I will give new clients some information about the history of EFT, and Gary Craig’s theory of why it works, but I’m not wedded to the theory nor do I expect clients to be.
Where I’m going with EFT
Because I believe that the different theories can be a distraction and limit progress, I have developed my own EFT Practitioner Training Course. This means that more focus can be given on how to use EFT skilfully to solve clients’ problems, rather than being lost in areas which are not relevant. The first such EFT Practitioner Training will be on 24th & 25th October. If you wish to discuss any aspect of this approach I would love to hear from you, and you can use my facebook page to post comments or questions.
I am based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, which is convenient for Leamington Spa, Warwick, Coventry, and other areas in the Midlands, UK.
